About MS TCDC

Our Story

Situated in Usa River, Arusha, MS TCDC is a convening space, knowledge sharing, and learning hub that attracts various interest groups – academia, civil society, youth, artists, activists, public servants – who are passionate in popular struggles for transformed, just, democratic and a sustainable world.

History

The history of the Training Center for Development Cooperation (MS TCDC) traces back to April 1967.

Where we are

Situated in the Usa River in Arusha, Tanzania, the facility has provided Swahili language skills and cultural orientation for Volunteers working in Tanzania.

Our Students

The Center progressively grew to incorporate training of civil society practitioners, mostly working in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

Swahili Courses

We offer our training from our 3 weeks Swahili Beginners and Swahili Intermediate and 2 weeks Intensive Swahili Beginners; Swahili Advanced course will be offered on a tailor-made basis upon request.
